We would like to share the feedback we have received in the guestbook for the accommodation at the Middleton Granary.
Those who raised eyebrows when we said we were going on holiday to Suffolk in March will be surprised when we go back home and tell them what a fab week we've had! We've been cycling virtually every day - there are some great routes circa 25-35 miles right from the doorstep. Also had a day cycling in the Broads, from Horning. This is a really lovely place to stay, so quiet and beautifully refurbished and great credit to the owners. We will definitely be back and recommend to friends.

Just what we needed... a peaceful and relaxing break! Thank you for comfortable accommodation. Our home village will seem like a large noisy town after a week here! We wish we had our bicycles here - the area certainly lends itself to this mode of transport - lovely countryside, relatively traffic free roads and few hills! Thanks for the welcome pack too - we'll be back and have already suggested it to friends. Thank you.

Our third stay in 8 months! The weather was miserable outside but that didn't matter - we had a wonderfully relaxed time, as always. It is a magical and special place - our 'Bolt Hole'. I am sure we will be back again shortly, assuming of course, it's not fully booked up!

Thank you for a warm welcome. Wine and other goodies were more than welcome and a nice touch. Barn warm, cosy, clean and very comfortable. We had a lovely relaxing break and hope to return soon. I don't think you could better the barn it has everything you need and more. Well done, though I say you deserve 5 stars.

A perfect holiday - we've enjoyed staying in Middleton Granary. An impressive barn - so light and spacious, with quality fittings and superb shower/wet room. Set in lovely location with fantastic views. We've also liked the outside space - lovely seating areas - on sunny days.
Have enjoyed visiting some of the lovely gardens in the region. Hope to return.

Wonderful views of open countryside and night skies. We were so impressed with the cleaniness of the barn - makes all the difference. We enjoyed the walk-in shower and kitchen mod cons and equipment. Thank you for the welcome food supplies - lovely thought, thank you.

A superb conversion and a great location from which to explore both Norfolk and Suffolk. Favourites included Africa Alive, Banham Zoo, Southwold, and Bury St Edmunds.

A wonderful holiday let, the best we have seen. A beautiful restoration and a delightful spot. A bonus to have a pub within walking distance, under new management, a warm welcome, the landlady even cooked a meal for us on monday when the kitchen is usually closed

Seasonal welcome to spring

Enjoy walking in the local Fen - only 5 mins walk from the Granary. In spring it comes alive
with chiffchaff, willow warbler, blackcap, garden warbler and whitethroat, and woodpeckers,
tree creepers and marsh tits are all-year residents

The Mediterranean patio garden at the Granary is complete and is maturing well.
The grape harvest in the vineyard next door will probably happen in one day in October.
There are horses in the fields and there is plenty of wildlife to spot
